Nebulizer

A nebulizer is a piece of durable medical equipment (DME) that a person with asthma or other respiratory conditions can use to administer medication directly and quickly to the lungs by converting liquid medicine into a very fine mist that a person can inhale through a face mask or mouthpiece. Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) covers nebulizers (and some medicines used in nebulizers if considered reasonable and necessary).
